WE BELIEVE IN INCLUSION
Everyone has a right to have access to mental health services, and other basic needs, irrespective of gender, religion, race, ethnicity, age or financial status. From our experience, once a person is mentally fit and supported they are able to access other basic needs (food, shelter, education) for survival.
SII POA CAMPAIGN
The SII POA CAMPAIGN IS an Awareness Campaign TO PREVENT AND STOP CHILD ABUSE but also increase awareness about the danger of CHILD ABUSE, increase social and government involvement into actions towards fighting child abuse and protecting children.
SUICIDE PREVENTION
We launched the first Crisis Support Helpline in East Africa on 0800 723 253 in December 2018. The World Health Organization estimates that approximately 1 million people die each year from suicide. Suicide prevention starts with recognizing the warning signs and taking them seriously. If you think a friend or family member is suicidal, there’s plenty you can do to help save a life.
ART THERAPY
Our successful Art Therapy sessions was founded in collaboration with NAIROBI R&B, OCTOPIZZO FOUNDATION & SLUMPHOTOGRAPHY in 2019. The concept behind the sessions was mainly to encourage free expression, healing and recovery.
FOOD BANKS
Food distribution has been at the core of our services to date, when people have access to basic necessities such as food they are able to reach their secondary needs.
GENDER BASED VIOLENCE (GBV)
We encourage survivors to speak and share their stories. Here the lovely Zuleikha shares her experience with us during the UN Women 16 days of activism for GBV, November 2020 in Kibera.
